kiraya.io is a free multiplayer property trading board game you play in a web browser with 2 to 8 friends. There is no account, no download and no install: one player creates a room, shares a five-letter code or a link, and everyone else joins from a phone or a laptop. You can also fill empty seats with bots and play alone.

How to play

1. Enter a name and press Play. You join a game that is waiting, or open one for others.
2. Share the room code or invite link with the people you want to play with.
3. On your turn, roll two dice and move around the board. Rolling doubles rolls again.
4. Land on an unowned street or pier and you may buy it. Land on someone else's and you pay rent.
5. Own every street of one colour to build houses and then a hotel, which multiplies the rent.
6. Short of cash? Mortgage a deed or sell buildings rather than going bankrupt.
7. The winner is the last player solvent, or whoever has the highest net worth when the round limit is reached.

Yes — kiraya.io is a free online alternative to Monopoly and similar roll-and-buy property trading board games. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Hasbro, and it is not Monopoly: the board, the place names, the theme and several of the rules are original. What carries over is the shape people know — roll, move, buy, charge rent, build, trade, and try to be the last one solvent.

How is it different from Richup?

kiraya.io is a free alternative to Richup.io with no account and no store. Three deliberate differences: the board is laid out portrait on phones so the squares stay readable rather than being a shrunken desktop board; every game has a round limit so it finishes in an evening instead of running for hours; and taxes and fees collect in a pot whose draw can be weighted towards whoever is behind, so a player who falls behind early still has a route back.
